Do you worry about where the energy for charging EV comes from?

Do you worry about where the energy for charging electric vehicles comes from? In Switzerland, you don’t have to!!!

About 75% of all electricity in Switzerland is “green energy”.⚡️ This is made possible by renewable energy sources: the Alpine country has 638 hydroelectric power plants, accounting for as much as 59.9% of total electricity production!

In recent years, there is also no shortage of interesting solar energy projects. One of them is the installation on the Lac des Toules lake in the canton of Valais (which already serves as a hydroelectric power plant!).

The structure consisting of 1,400 photovoltaic panels with a total surface area of 2,000 m2 is located at an altitude of ?️ 1,800 m above sea level, where the air is thinner, the sun’s radiation stronger and the snow-covered slopes reflect even more light, thus producing 50% more energy than a similar installation placed in the lowlands.

This translates into producing as much electricity in a year as 220 homes use in a year, and to express it even more graphically, every day could be used to fully charge a fleet of 45 Tesla Model 3. ?☀️☀️☀️

We believe that Switzerland’s example will be inspiring and soon we will be able to charge our cars with a CLEAN conscience in any corner of the world, with Share.P of course! ?
